This past weekend we changed our clocks for Daylight Savings Time.  I don't know about you, but it always throws me off of my schedule.  Well, it may soon be a thing of the past.
State Representative Dan Flynn of Canton has issued a bill to do away with the time change in Texas.  The representative says that we need to stop worrying about changing our clocks and should only have one time all year long.  Flynn goes on to say that the main reason he wants to get rid of Daylight Savings Time is because there is so much confusion around the holiday.

"Those myths that are out there that Daylight Saving Time is meant to help the farmers, actually the farmers are very opposed to it in years past... And then of course about the conserving energy," said Flynn.

The last decision on this bill is set for March 11th.  If the bill becomes a law, Texas will be the third state to opt out of participating.  Arizona and Hawaii do not participate.

Do you think that Daylight Savings Time is unnecessary.
