Monday evening Amarillo Police were called to a burglary in progress.

The owner of a home in the 3700 block of SE 35th arrived home Monday evening to find his house had been broken into with two burglars still inside.  The homeowner was able to hear the burglars talking from outside the house.  The victim called police which caused the two suspects to run out of the house and go separate directions, fleeing on foot.

Jeremiah Matthew Pina, 17, was located hiding behind a shed in the backyard of a residence in the 3200 block of South Dallas Street.  The second suspect, a juvenile male was caught walking in the 3400 block of South Hill Street.

Pina had a warrant out of Potter County for Possession of Marijuana.  He was booked into the Randall County Jail for Burglary of a Habitation and the warrant.

The juvenile was booked into the Youth Center of The High Plains for burglary of a habitation.
