Home Invaders Hold Amarillo Woman And Child At Gunpoint

A woman and her child were held at gunpoint yesterday while burglars went through their home.

Amarillo Police were called to the 3400 block of Meadow after four men broke into the back door of a home.  A woman living at the home was on the front porch when she heard a loud noise.  She investigated to find four men breaking into the back door.

She retreated to her child's bedroom where she was confronted and held at gunpoint while the others took various items, including guns from the residence.

The suspects eventually fled the home, leaving in an older model blue four-door car.

The investigation is ongoing and no description of the suspects were provided. No injuries were reported.
