Grain Futures Mixed, Cattle Prices Higher, Pork Drops
CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures were Mixed Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery was unchanged at $6.56 a bushel; December corn was .75 lower at 4.2425 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.40 a bushel; while January soybeans was 7.75 cents higher at 12.58 a bushel.
Beef was higher and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
December live cattle advanced .25 cent to $1.3230 a pound; January feeder cattle was .58 cent higher at $1.6565 a pound; December lean hogs were .70 cent lower at $.8755 a pound.
