I used to love Gilligan’s Island as a kid.  I guess I still do.  I never saw the original pilot.  That is not Gilligan in the picture.

My favorite episode would have to be the one where Mary Ann plants those irradiated seeds and they grow super sized veggies.  Always wondered why science never figured out how to do that if Mary Ann could.

Dawn Wells still has “it”, btw.

Here’s the original opening of the show.  It was used for the pilot episode and as is often the case many things changed.  I think they got this one right.
