You know oil companies; they love to take any excuse and jack up prices.  Labor Day weekend had nothing to do with it, right?

Hurricane Issac is getting the blame for the spike in petrol prices.  The national average is $3.83 per gallon.  That's just too dang high.

There is some optimism.  With the refineries coming back online it is expected prices will fall somewhat as we head into the fall.
