Former Texas Tech Student From Saudi Sentenced To Life In Prison In Us Bomb Plot

Khalid Ali-M Aldawsari, the former Texas Tech student from Saudi who was found guilty of trying to make a bomb to carry out jihad in Lubbock has been sentenced.

Aldawsari was convicted this morning by an Amarillo jury to life in prison.  Jurors convicted him in June of attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction.

The 22 year old came to the United States to study at Texas Tech.  He was arrested in Lubbock in 2011.
