Fatal Shooting On Lair Road May Have Been In Self Defense

The Randall County Sheriffs are investigating a fatal shooting that happened at a home on Lair Road early Sunday evening.

Deputies were called the 6701 Lair Road around 8:30pm after receiving a call about a shooting. Responding deputies found the body of a 39-year-old man.  The alleged shooter claimed the shooting was in self defense.  It is still unclear what the circumstances leading to the shooter were.

The case is still under investigation to determine the self-defense claim. The names of the shooter and victim have not been released.
