Fake $50 Bills Being Passed In Amarillo

Local businesses are asked to be on the lookout for counterfeit $50 bills.

Two different businesses have been hit with the phoney money.  The fake bills have the serial number JK00322220A and can pass the marking pen test most businesses use to check money.

If you are given one of these bills you are asked to contact Amarillo Police immediately.
