Another Saturday of buying and trading plus an informal poll on mosquitoes.
It’s the show where you can buy and sell pretty much anything. It’s kind of like Craigslist on the radio without the illicit personal ads.
THE BIG QUESTION
We always ask a poll question of our callers before they give their items. Last week I got to thinking about how I haven’t suffered any mosquito bites this season. I even managed to get through the Fourth bite free. I know we haven’t gotten a lot of rain and this has kept numbers down. I was still curious how many of you have been bitten.
Have you suffered any mosquito bites this summer?
Even with low numbers it is still important to apply repellent if you are going to be outside during dusk.
Along with the regular rules of conduct on the program I always bring you a special rule 6. It is usually inspired by something that has happened to me over the last week.
Diane Abernathy and I were having a conversation about whether money makes you happy. As neither of us has any it is a hard question to answer. I did tell her I read once that most people live just beyond their means. Meaning people that have money to us might perceive themselves to be quite broke.
Rule #6: Don’t over-extend yourself!
See you next Saturday for another Erwin Pawn Tradio Show!
