Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon Prefers It Frozen
A chilling Saturday of buying and selling is behind us.
It's the radio program that invites you to call in and list for sale the belongings you no longer need but still have value. We do it every Saturday morning from 9-Noon.
THE BIG QUESTION
We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their listing. It helps us get to know them a little better and provides a running theme for our calls. Sometimes topical, this week we went a little out of left field.
This week it was another food question. We wanted to know, all things being equal, which was your overall preference in vegetables.
Generally speaking, frozen or canned?
Personally, there isn't a whole lot I prefer canned over frozen. Unless its refried or Ranch Style beans, then frozen is the way to go.
We go over the rules of the program at the beginning of each hour. Along with the five regular rules, I always bring you a special Rule #6 that changes every week. It is usually inspired by something that happened to me over the previous week.
Friday was pretty warm and many found it hot enough to run the air conditioner. I think weather warm enough to keep the heat off during the winter to be a gift from above to help me save on energy costs. When you run the air conditioner in the middle of the winter you throw those savings asunder. Not me!
Rule #6: Save the money, don't run your air conditioner.
I hope to see you and host your listing this Saturday on The Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon!
