Erwin Pawn Trade-A-Thon Prefers Donuts

It was another Saturday morning of bringing buyers and sellers together on News Talk 940.

It's want ads on the radio and we do it every Saturday morning.  As always, you are invited to call in and participate or you can just listen.  We appreciate it when you do.

THE BIG QUESTION

We ask all our callers a poll question before they give their items.  This week we had food on our mind.  Specifically we had breakfast pastry on the brain.

While donuts are a pretty good treat and an awesome if dubiously nutritious breakfast, the relatively recent invention of the kolachi is elbowing its way into our breakfast hearts.  For those that don't know a kolachi is a baked roll with breakfast meat or fruit in the middle.  They are like breakfast 'pigs-in-a-blanket'.

We were wondering what your preference was.

RULE #6

Along with the regular rules of the program, I always bring you a special rule #6.  It changes every week and is usually inspired by something that has happened to me over the previous week.

Last week I had to go to my dr.'s office.  He of course is right on the edge of road construction at 34th & Soncy.  I had to get there before they closed to get a prescription.  I chose to go the long way and reroute around the construction.  I made it in time and wouldn't have if I hadn't detoured.  Sounds like a good rule.

Rule #6: It's worth the extra time to reroute around road construction.
