Erwin Pawn, A Wedding, And Playing Games All On Tradio Saturday
I had too much going on personally and on the air Saturday for The Erwin Pawn Tradio Show. I survived...barely.
Most notable about last Saturday's show was call volume. We broke the 47 call record and did it big. 52 calls logged. It didn't feel that busy but the spreadsheet doesn't lie. Thanks to everyone who participated! It's fairly obvious we've got a lot of buyers, sellers, and traders; calling, and listening.
I attended a wedding, this one for my cousin's daughter. It was the second wedding for me in a month and both from that side of the family. And once again I had a lot of family in from out of town Friday and Saturday. I broke a former Rule #6 Friday night and really needed a nap after this last show. Didn't get it. Mom, my sister and my nephews were waiting to take us to lunch right after we got off the air. I didn't get to bed until Sunday morning. Rough.
THE BIG QUESTION
Our weekly poll question was decided Friday night. We were discussing the expense of weddings and how the money could be better spent on an outrageous honeymoon.
If you were advising a young person would you tell them to have a wedding or to elope?
Wedding 30 Elope 24
On the show we chose elope although Katilyn G. hasn't yet had to make that decision in life.
Saturday rolled around and I didn't have much inspiration for the weekly rule. I went with my backup plan. Some weeks I have multiple rules I'd like to share. Since there can be only one Rule #6 per week I save the extras back for just such an occasion.
RULE #6 DON'T HATE THE PLAYER, DON'T HATE THE GAME. PLAY THE GAME BETTER THAN THE OTHER PLAYERS.
Was probably a conversation Katilyn G and I were having a few weeks back but I honestly don't remember what inspired that one.
See you next Saturday for another Erwin Pawn Tradio Show!
