The Los Angeles Chargers announced Monday afternoon that they've signed former Texas Tech wide receiver Dylan Cantrell to the active roster.

Cantrell was a Chargers sixth-round draft pick back in April and has been on the practice squad since final cuts at the start of September.

Cantrell was a standout during his time at Texas Tech. He played in 46 games, racked up 1,873 yards receiving, and 19 touchdowns during his time in Lubbock. He was also a captain during his senior season and All-Big 12 honorable mention.

This just adds to the list of Red Raiders receivers in the NFL this season. Once again, confirming that Texas Tech is a wide receiver factory for NFL teams, otherwise known as "Wide Receiver U."
