Dutchman Claims Flight In Custom Built ‘Bird Wings’ In Viral Video

As far back as Icarus we've trying to fashion wings like a bird to fly free as they do.  Now an Dutchman engineer has demonstrated proof-of-concept in an amazing video.

The video is very reminiscent of the Wright Brothers first flight at Kitty Hawk.  The gentleman takes off and soars for a short time.  But it certainly looks as if he has attained flight with just the beating of his own wings.

Some are crying foul and claiming the video is a hoax.  After several viewings I find little suspicious except for the fact that is appears to show the impossible.

Get out your feathers and wax but don't fly too close to the sun!
