DPS Seizes 100 Pounds Of Marijuana During Traffic Stop

A traffic stop turned into a drug bust on I-40 Sunday.

A DPS trooper pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation around 3:30pm Sunday near Bushland.  During the stop the trooper conducted a search of the vehicle and found 107 bundles of marijuana in the trunk.

The DPS believes the drugs were being transported to California from Dallas.

22-year-old Vinaca Lizeth Casas and 28-year-old Carlos Castrejon were both arrested and booked into Potter County for possession of a controlled substance.
