DPS Finds 51 Pounds Of Marijuana During Traffic Stop
It was another traffic stop that turned into much more Monday.
The DPS pulled over a Toyota Camry Monday morning in Moore County. During the stop the trooper conducted a search of the vehicle and discovered 45 bundles of marijuana inside the trunk of the vehicle. The estimated value of the drugs is more than $23,000.
Troopers arrested 53-year-old Joel A. Sanford for possession of marijuana and booked into the Moore County Jail. The drugs were being transported from Sacramento, California to an unknown location.
