Dimmitt Bank Fined For Allegedly Discriminating On Loans

First United Bank of Dimmitt is paying a settlement over alleged discriminatory loand practices.

First United Bank was ordered by the US District Court to pay $140,000, change their pricing polices and conduct employee training in the future.

The FDIC investigated the bank over complaints was charging Hispanic customers higher prices on their loans.
