A woman and her boyfriend have been arrested in Hungary for concocting a scam falsely reporting two people missing on the Costa Concordia shipwreck.  She reported her daughter and grand daughter missing.

A New York Attorney got suspicious the woman called asking how much money she could expect to get, then reported that her daughter and grand daughter were still missing in the shipwreck.

The Hungarian Foreign Ministry also became suspicious when they discovered one of the names she stated had be dead for years. An investigation is still underway. 16 bodies have been removed from the wreckage and 16 remain missing.
