Los Angeles police department seized over $700,000 worth of counterfeit make up from the L.A. downtown fashion district last Thursday.

The L.A.P.D.'s piracy unit raided 21 targets, which lead to six arrests on trademark violation charges. L.A.P.D. also issued a cease and desist order to dozens of businesses.

The cosmetics were tested and high levels of bacteria and feces were found.

The counterfeit cosmetics included imitations of popular brands like Kylie, Anastasia, Mac, Urban Decay, Naked and Too Faced.

The raid was conducted after consumers complaints about the cosmetics causes skin problems.

Counterfeit cosmetics are made in people's garages and in unsanitary conditions. It maybe nice that you're getting a deep discount, but it's not worth your health risk.

YUCK!
