These big-name coaches may want their jummb-sized linemen to escort them to the bank to cash their jumbo-sized paychecks.

USA Today has released a list of this year's highest-paid football coaches. Michigan's Jim Harbaugh came in first, easily topping last year's leader, Nick Saban of Alabama, who tumbled to second place.

Harbaugh is making slightly more than $9 million, which means he can definitely afford some nicer trousers than his trademark khakis. Saban rolled in $6.9 million.

The SEC had four of the top 10 richest coaches, while the Big Ten had three. One of the more interesting names on the list is Les Miles, who is at number 13 with nearly $4.4 million. That's a lot of money, considering he was fired a few weeks ago.

Perhaps most astonishing is the fact that 36 coaches in the FBS make at least $3 million, a big jump from the nine who found themselves in that rarified tax bracket back in 2011.
