City Of Canyon Votes To Go Wet

Two propositions concerning alcohol sales in Canyon passed during Tuesday's election.

Tuesday was election day in Texas and two propositions on the ballot in Canyon seeking to approve alcohol sales passed.  Although the measures won't take effect for several months.

The first measure allows package sales for off premise consumption.  The second allows for alcohol to be served in restaurants with the proper permitting.
