Chop Chop Robbed At Gun Point

A Saturday night robbery has Amarillo police searching for a suspect.

Around 10pm Saturday night a man confronted two employees with a gun outside Chop Chop Japanese Steakhouse at 3300 Coulter St. The employees were disposing of garbage at the time of the incident.

The assailant forced the employees back in to the restaurant and demanded money.  He then left with an undisclosed amount of money.  No one was injured in the incident.

Police describe the suspect as a black male wearing a blue jacket and green pants.  He also was wearing a mask to conceal his face.
