Our country seems to lean more towards socialism everyday.  At least in America you can still choose your college major.  Whether it will make you money or not.

As the father of a college student still undecided about her career path, I'm extremely concerned she will choose a profitable one.  But doing away with college degree plans solely on the basis of economic viability?  I'll have to think on that one.

Jobless graduates are as big a problem in America as China.  In China the Ministry of Education has announced a plan to eliminate majors producing unemployable graduates.  The razor will fall on graduate plans whose employment rates drop below 60%.

It has not been reported which degrees would face the axe.  In America similar rules would see majors in psychology, U.S. History and mililtary technologies would be the first to go.
