There is something majestic about the tiger.  It is a beautiful creature.  Such a beautiful creature that we have to celebrate its greatness.  There is a whole day dedicated to the tiger and it is a day celebrated around the globe and that is Global Tiger Day.

The Amarillo Zoo along with their tigers Sabrina and Savanah will be celebrating the tiger with a celebration of learning and fun.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 28th, 9:30am-3pm and bring out the entire family.

You'll get to learn all about tigers, including the fact that they are endangered.  You'll learn about the efforts going on right now to protect the tigers in the wild.

Kids can have really cool tiger stripes painted on their face.

The Zoo Keepers will be holding keeper chats and activities for the Amarillo Zoo's very own tigers.  You can find out how you can help the tigers.

While you are there, enjoy the rest of the amazing animals at the Amarillo Zoo.
