Battleship‘ was supposed to be the film that nudged ‘The Avengers‘ out of the number one spot at the box office, but instead you can just go ahead and insert your own “You sank my battleship!” joke here. ‘The Avengers’ didn’t cling to the top spot for the third week in a row, it dominated the top spot for the third week in a row, taking in another $55 million for a grand domestic total of $457 million.

Ashton Kutcher Debuts His Steve Jobs Look — Is He Convincing?

No one’s ever accused Ashton Kutcher of being smart. He played an airhead on ‘That 70s Show’ and some of his decisions — like his controversial “brownface” PopChips commercial and that Joe Paterno tweet — are evidence of that. But, he was smart enough to hop on the ‘Two and a Half Men’ train and to land the role of a lifetime, playing Steve Jobs for the Apple founder’s biopic, which just started shooting and is scheduled to release in 2013.

However, the bigger question is: Was it a smart decision by the film’s producers to cast Kutcher as Jobs?

The question we should be pondering now is whether or not it will become the biggest movie of all time.
