The Canyon police department fielded several calls of vandalism on Sunday.

Saturday night someone went on a BB gun shooting spree damaging businesses and a government building.  The vandals targeted Palace Coffee Company and left several bb holes in their windows.  They also shot out a glass door at city hall.  Canyon High School also had a south window shot out.

The vandals are also suspected with a stealing one of two new LED pedestrian crossing signs.  The sign is valued at nearly $1,800.  The value of the sign alone makes the crime a state jail felony.

The city is still tallying the damage.
