Burn Ban In Effect For Randall County

It's cold but it hasn't been wet.  Things are pretty dry in our area.  In response Randall County Commissioners have issued a burn ban.

The ban which covers all outdoor fires in unincorporated areas of the county is in effect until February 11th or when the commissioners or County Judge decide to suspend the ban.

Violators are subject to a Class C misdemeanor and a fine of up to $500.
