Borger Police Officer On Wrong Side Of Law

Officer Brian Earls with the Borger Police Department was arrested Saturday following a domestic violence incident.

A protective order was issued by a magistrate and Earls was transported to Randall County.  He was held overnight and then bonded out.

After a Borger Police Department Internal Affairs investigation Earls was dismissed from the Borger Police Department.  Earls had been with the department for less than a year.

Earls was charged of Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Member, a class A misdemeanor.
