Borger Bar Dispute Ends In Shooting

One man is in the hospital and another in jail after a shooting in Borger.

Borger police responded to a call of criminal mischief call around 3am Saturday morning.  Around the same time they were called to the Golden Plains Community Hospital with a patient in the ER with gunshot wounds.

An investigation revealed both incidents were related to a dispute at a local bar that escalated into s shooting.  Three different vehicles were found with gun shot holes and a rifle was suspected in the shootings.

The male victim was flown to Northwest Texas Hospital in stable condition.
