Bags Of Meth Found On Bivins Elementary Playground

The mother of a student at Bivins Elementary School found bags of meth on the school's playground.

Amarillo Police were called to investigate and a field test on the substance confirmed it was methamphetamine.  Officers also found several empty bags scattered around the area.  Officers and drug dogs cleared the scene and announced it safe for children.

Over the weekend the entire school grounds were searched and no other drugs were found.
