‘The Great Gatsby’ Director Baz Luhrmann Sets His Sights on TV

While Director Baz Luhrmann is busy wrapping up work on 'The Great Gatsby,' which is now set for a May 2013 release, it looks like he's already found a way to keep himself busy in between future movie projects that'll satisfy everybody. The man, who's also responsible for such works as 'Moulin Rouge' and 'Romeo + Juliet,' will be entering the TV realm, so now all his fans will get to see even more of his work.

‘The Great Gatsby’ Gets an Official Release Date for May 2013!

One of the most anticipated movies this year was supposed to be 'The Great Gatsby,' the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel adapted for the big screen and directed by Baz Lurhmann. That is, until Warner Bros. pulled the film's December release date -- where it was set to go up against 'The Hobbit' and 'Django Unchained' -- even after the studio already teased us with an incredible trailer featuring the glamorous-looking Leonardo DiCaprio all suited up.

We were then left in the dark when it was revealed the movie would be pushed back until next summer with no release date set in stone... until now! So, when will we officially get to see DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and their fellow stars all dolled up for the screen?

NBC Skips 9/11 “Moment of Silence” for Kardashian Interview

As if we needed another reason to hate the Kardashians...

At 8:46 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11, most national news outlets took a break from their regular programming to air a special "moment of silence" from New York City and Washington D.C. to honor the victims of 9/11. We say "most" because, as it turns out, not everyone was a participant. While FOX, CBS, ABC, CNBC and MSNBC went quiet at this time, which was the moment 11 years ago when the first plane hit the Twin Towers, NBC continued on with the 'Today' show, which just so happened to feature an interview with Kris Jenner of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians.'
