Ever whip out your phone at a concert a take a few minutes of video?  That's a no-no and Apple is trying to stop you.

Apple has filed for a patent for technology that would turn your iPhone camera off if you attempt to film at a concert or sporting event.

I have doubts how much this bootleg filming really hurts the music industry but they certainly think it harmful.  And Apple has been a willing partner with the music industry in trying new and innovative ways to stop piracy.

The next time you whip it out to take a shot at a concert and it doesn't work it might not be a broken phone, you might have just been jammed.
