Another Tourist Gets Ensnared In New York’s Tough Gun Laws

It is happening with alarming regularity no matter how much the word is put out there. NO GUNS IN NEW YORK!

It was just last week we told you about a Tennessee woman who is facing three years in a New York jail for attempting to turn in her gun at the 9/11 Memorial.

It's happened again.

This time his name is Ryan Jerome and he's a former Marine.  He was visiting the Empire State Building and asked security where he could check his gun.  They don't check guns in New York, the arrest you for them.

And for the umpteenth time - YOUR CONCEALED CARRY LICENSE IS NOT VALID IN NEW YORK.

If caught with a gun in New York you will face a mandatory sentence of two and a half years.  Jerome is facing up to 15 years.  It does not matter that he has no criminal history.  It does not matter that he served our country.  It does not matter that it was an over sight.

What matters is the toughest gun laws in our country.

You have been warned...again.
