The Amarillo Local Government Corporation or LGC voted yesterday to sever ties with the master developer of four major downtown projects.

The Wallas Banjjali Development Partners, LP cancelled a job in Joplin, Missouri and vacated their offices there.  They also closed their office in Sugarland, Texas.

The LGC says both managing partners of the company had resigned their positions.  After unsuccessfully to contact either of the partners or a representative of the company went in vain the LGC made the difficulty decision to sever ties with the company.

The vote was unanimous.

The LGC says they had planned for this contingency and do not expect the change to dramatically delay the project.
