Amarillo Wants You To Bring More Conventions To The City

The Amarillo Convention and Visitor Council is asking for your help in reaching a lofty goal.

Is there a convention you've heard of or attended that you think would be perfect for Amarillo?  Is there one you have an idea for?   Then Amarillo needs your input.

Amarillo's Convention and Visitors Council has set the goal of bringing in 66 conventions to the city in 2013.  It means big business for the city and businesses based here.  From hotel's to restaurants, locally owned to corporate owned stores, everyone wins when there is a convention in town.

If you have a lead on a convention idea contact the ACVC at 806-374-1497.  If your idea is selected you'll receive special recognition and be eligible for a 'very special prize'.
