Amarillo Police Officer Discovers Late Night Wreck While On Patrol

An Amarillo police officer on patrol discovered a car crash this morning around 1:30am.

The office was approaching the overpass in the 4600 block of Amarillo Boulevard East.  A black Toyota Camry had been driving eastbound and speeding.  The driver of the Camry drifted over into the oncoming lane a struck at red Honda traveling west.

The vehicles struck each other on their front left side.

Both drivers and a passenger in one of the vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
