Amarillo Police Make Arrest After Stabbing On Spring Street

Herbs. Dill, knife and chopping board.Amarillo Police responded to a report of a stabbing last night at around 9:15pm.

The call came from the 2600 block of south Spring street.  It appears to be domestic in nature.  When police arrived they found 37-year-old Teo-Filo Mendez with at least one stab wound to the chest.  He was treated at hospital and was released.

Police arrested his wife, 26-year-old Lauren Mendez for the stabbing.
