Amarillo Police Lighting Up Local Smoke Shops Over K2 Or Synthetic Marijuana

Randall County Sheriffs have gotten serious about the scourge of K2, or synthetic marijuana being sold in our city.

The way the law has worked for years concerning controlled substances, if it wasn't on the list it was totally legal.  Especially if it is sold 'not for human consumption'.  Maybe they should label them 'not for smoking'.

Except that they are.  And the chemist concocting these synthetics manage to stay just ahead of the law by changing their formula and making their product more or less 'legal'.

Randall County has been casing these shops on a regular basis in an ongoing attempt to keep these products our of the hands of children.
