Amarillo Police Investigating Tuesday Night Shooting

Amarillo police responded to a shooting call in Tuesday night.

Amarillo police were called around 11pm to the 1700 block of South Lincoln Street.  Upon arrival they found a man with a gunshot wound to the lower body area.  He was transported to the hospital and his injuries are not considered life threatening.

The investigation is ongoing and police are following several leads.
