Amarillo Police Investigating Domestic Shooting

Amarillo Police were called to the 500 block of South Florida on a report of a shooting.

Officers found a victim in the back driveway of a home with gunshot wounds to the arm and abdomen.

The victim and the suspect were in a SUV parked on 5th Avenue near Alabama when a domestic dispute escalated to a shooting.  The suspect fled the scene in a dark colored SUV.

The victim's car traveled along 5th to Florida before crashing into a fence.  The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No arrest have been made at this time.
