Amarillo Police Investigating Cheshire Cat Robbery

Amarillo Police responded to a report of an armed robbery.

It happened around 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon.  Police were called to The Cheshire Cat at the 2600 block of Paramount.

An employee told police that a white male entered the store, approached the clerk at the cash register and brandished a gun, demanding money.  The employee gave the robber an undisclosed amount of money and the robber then fled the building.

The APD is looking for a white male in his 20's, 5 foot 10 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. The man was wearing a gray hooded jacket, light colored pants and was carrying a backpack.
