Amarillo Police Identify Body Found In Motel

Amarillo Police have released the name of the woman found dead at a local motel.

Toni Lyn Salomon, 51 was found dead on Sunday at the Economy Inn Motel at 6011 West Amarillo Boulevard.  Officers found the deceased female in one of the rooms.

The circumstances of her death were suspicious and the Special Crimes Unit was called in to investigate.  An autopsy yesterday did not reveal any evidence of a homicide.

The cause of death is pending a toxicology report.
