Amarillo Police Find A Lot More Than Coffee Inside Thermos

A traffic stop yesterday for a moving violation turned in to an allegedly felony possession charge.

The DPS pulled over the vehicle from Lawton, Oklahoma.  During a search of the vehicle authorities found meth and heroine stored in a coffee thermos.

Around 88 grams of meth and was also found hidden with a small amount of heroin.

Both occupants of the vehicle were arrested for possession.  It is believed the drugs were being transported from New Mexico to Oklahoma.
