Amarillo Police Department’s Warrant Roundup Underway

If you've got an outstanding warrant with the Amarillo Police Department, you may soon be getting a visit concerning that subject.

Some outstanding warrant holders with the city will be receiving a notice card in the mail alerting of the need to appear.  There are over 14,000 of the cards being sent out.

Be sure to take the card seriously if you get one.  Beginning on March 4th the APD will begin actively searching for outstanding warrant holders, attempting to find them at home, work or any place they suspect the subject might be.

Currently there ar 34,725 oustanding warrants in the city.  If you have any questions you are encouraged to call Municipal Court at 378-9342.
