Amarillo Police Arrest Brothers On Various Charges
During a routine traffic stop, Amarillo officers found a stolen gun and eventually arrested two brothers on various charges.
It happened around 12:30am Tuesday morning. The vehicle was pulled over for expired registration. When the vehicle was pulled over, the passenger took off on foot.
After a short chase police were able to apprehend the man, Police later found on him a pistol reported stolen out of Mission, Texas. 28-year-old Chad Simmons was charged with felon in possession of a firearm, evading arrest and three outstanding warrants.
33-year-old Joshua Simmons, the driver was taken to Randall County on traffic charges.
