Sunday evening a pedestrian was robbed at gun point.

Around 7:30 Sunday evening police were dispatched on a report of a robbery.  Officers responded to the call in the 4000 block of South Jackson.

A 19-year-old victim told police he was walking in the area when a dark colored SUV pulled over next to him.  The driver of the SUV got out of the vehicle and asked the victim for a cigarette.  The suspect then pulled a pistol, pointed it at the victim and demanded his iPad.  The victim handed over the tablet and the suspect left the area.

Police are looking for a black male in his early 20's with tattoos on his left forearm.  The SUV is a late '90's or early 2000's model and is black, possible a Jeep Cherokee.  If you have any information on this crime you are asked to call Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400.
