Amarillo Parks & Rec Kids Fishing Tourney This Weekend

Its that annual time of year when the youth of Amarillo cast a line into one of our city lakes.

The fishing derby is at McDonald Lake at 45th and Coulter.  You can register at the event starting at 7:30am.  The competition starts at 8am, don’t be late.

Prizes will be awarded for biggest, smallest and ugliest fish caught in each age group and an award for the most interesting catch of the day.

The tournament is open to kids 16 and under.
