Amarillo Man Caught With Meth Facing Federal Charges

Richard Anthony Rios was stopped by a motorcycle officer on I-40 and Crockett yesterday.  Today he is facing Federal drug charges.

After pulling Rios over, a narcotics dog was called to the scene and found around 25 pounds of methamphetamine valued at over a million dollars in the vehicle.

Rios was arrested and booked into Potter County and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance over 200 grams.
