A man wanted for hidden cameras found in the restrooms of two Amarillo businesses has been arrested in Oklahoma.

On August 2nd Amarillo Police were called to a business in the 1800 block of Georgia where an employee had found a small camera in the restroom.  The camera was mounted in an aerosol spray unit.  The camera was positioned to record people using the restroom.

Then again, on August 17th, police were called to a business in the 4600 block of South Washington.  A hidden camera had been discovered, this time wrapped in toilet paper and placed under a toilet in the women's restroom.

The police believe any video either camera captured was stored within the camera with no indication the images were transmitted from the cameras.

Following an investigation the Randall County District Attorney accepted a state jail felony charge of invasive video recording against 28-year-old Chauncey Don Carter on November 5th.  Carter had either already or soon after charges were filed fled the area.

Carner was arrested November 24th in Sapulpa, Oklahoma and booked into the Creek County Jail.  He is currently awaiting extradition to Texas.
